Agile Performance Management with Scrum@Scale

Surprisingly Different Approach to Managing Agile Workers.

Description

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with new techniques in performance management. Agile was designed as an approach to handle complex problems in product development. Complex problems are the domain of knowledge workers. Knowledge workers are generally known as workers that produce decisions. Performance management is a strategic approach to creating and sustaining improved performance in employees, leading to an increase in the effectiveness of companies. As a result, management should focus on the quality of the decisions made to gauge performance. However, most organizations still focus on process and process activities.

Agile Performance Management shifts the focus from annual evaluation and rankings to continuous feedback and development. It is more collaborative, social, and faster moving. The course begins with an overview of Agile methods focused on performance. Students will receive a detailed explanation of the context, mental models, and decisions management should review to conduct performance management most effectively.
