Agile Strategy Management with Scrum@Scale

A Scrum@Scale course with an emphasis on Agile Strategy.

Description

This course is designed to get students to implement Agile strategy in business to a competitive advantage. This course begins by examining the definition and the elements of strategy. Students will learn to measure outcomes instead of outputs as a measure of success. The course outlines the following: use of metrics, targets, and forecasting to predict future outcomes; feedback loops to challenge cognitive biases; and the use of OKRs. During the class, students will practice using the discussed techniques and will leave the classroom with an action plan to implement them in their daily work. Students will learn to define business objectives, to decompose goals into more manageable pieces, to prioritize work, to constantly monitor outcomes, and to restructure when adaptation is needed. The course covers techniques to methodically make strong decisions. Students will be able to determine a business’s direction, plan the process of getting there, and measure its success.
